Description

The Honeywell CC-TUIO41 51306873-176 is a redundant Universal Input Output Termination Assembly (IOTA) for the Experion® Series C platform. Used with the CC-PUIO31 Universal I/O Module, it supports up to 32 configurable channels for analog and digital signals. The assembly provides field wiring termination, supports redundant module configurations, and enables flexible I/O allocation for industrial process control applications.

What are the advantages of CC-TUIO41?
CC-TUIO41 supports channel redundancy: The chassis is equipped with two I/O module slots. By installing a second general-purpose I/O module, hardware-level hot-swappable redundancy is automatically enabled, without the need for additional external cables.

Why is it often said that CC-TUIO41 can eliminate the need for intermediate wiring cabinets ?
The CC-TUIO41, when used in conjunction with general-purpose I/O modules, can directly supply power to the field channels via the backplane (IOTA), eliminating the need for external power distributors. Additionally, any channel can receive signals from any source. 

Is it necessary to shut down the system when replacing the I/O module (IOM) connected to the CC-TUIO41?
No downtime is required. Thanks to its redundant design, if the main module fails during operation, the system seamlessly switches to the backup module, ensuring continuous production.
