Description

The Bently Nevada 31000-00-00-15-035-01-02 is a 31000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly designed to provide a protected external mounting solution for proximity probes installed through machine casings. This configuration is supplied without a proximity probe, probe cable, or standoff adapter, and features a 3.5-inch probe penetration length, one M25 conduit fitting with two sealing plugs, and an M24 × 3 mounting thread. The assembly is typically used with radially mounted proximity transducers for shaft vibration and Keyphasor® measurements and complies with the requirements of API 670 for externally mounted proximity probe housings. When installed with an approved Bently Nevada transducer system and appropriate intrinsic safety barriers, it is suitable for intrinsically safe hazardous-area applications while providing reliable mechanical and environmental protection for the transducer installation.
