Product Description:

The 330905-00-25-05-02-00 is part of Bently Nevada's 3300 NSv Proximity Probe series. This probe is specifically designed for applications where standard probes face space or accessibility constraints. It is ideal for small target applications, such as measuring radial vibration on shafts smaller than 51 mm (2 in) or axial position on flat targets smaller than 15 mm (0.6 in).

Oil and Gas: Implemented across upstream extraction, midstream pipelines, and downstream refining. It continuously tracks critical shaft parameters to prevent catastrophic machine downtime.

Q:What is the standard system calibration for this probe?
A:By default, the 3300 XL NSv system is factory-calibrated to AISI 4140 steel. If your target material is different, the system accuracy and interchangeability specifications will not apply unless you request custom calibration from the manufacturer.
Q: What is the voltage sensitivity and linear range?
A:The 3300 XL NSv Transducer System has a nominal scale factor of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil). Because it is optimized for narrow spaces and smaller targets, its total linear range is shorter than standard 5 mm/8 mm systems, providing roughly 1.5 mm (60 mils) of linear range.

Q:Can this probe replace older Bently Nevada systems?
A:Yes. The 3300 XL NSv system can directly replace 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and older 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer Systems. If you are upgrading from a 3300 RAM system, you can often keep the existing probe and cable. Upgrading from a 3000 or 7000 series requires a complete replacement of the probe, extension cable, and Proximitor Sensor.
