Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330750-60-CN is a High Temperature Velomitor System (HTVS) designed to measure absolute vibration velocity on machine casings or bearing housings operating in extreme thermal environments. To accomplish this, the transducer design segregates the sensing element from the signal conditioning electronics. The two are permanently connected using an integrated cable. The integrated cable eliminates connectors which are a significant source of transducer failures.

Power Generation: Used on steam turbines, gas turbines, and large generator sets where component casings run at intense operational temperatures
Oil & Gas Refineries: Deployed on massive centrifugal compressors, turbo-expanders, and high-pressure process pumps handling hot hydrocarbons
Heavy Manufacturing & Steel Mills: Applied to high-temperature draft fans, exhaust ventilation systems, and blast furnace blowers.
Turbine and Compressor Casings: Directly measures casing vibration to detect imbalance, misalignment, or aerodynamic instability.

A:The system utilizes a segregated design that completely isolates the physical sensing element from its sensitive signal-conditioning electronics. Q:Where should this sensor be installed?
A:It must be installed directly on a rigid bearing housing or machine casing. The machine vibration must faithfully transmit to the sensor mounting spot. Improper or loose mounting will degrade the high-frequency response and generate false velocity signals.
Q:When should I use this over a standard 330500 Velomitor?
A:Use the Standard 330500 Velomitor if your machine surface temperatures remain strictly below +121°C (+250°F). If the surface exceeds this temperature, the internal electronics of a standard sensor will fail, making the segregated 330750 system mandatory..
