Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330708-000-20-50-02-CN is an industrial 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe equipped with a 5/8-18 UNF thread and protective cable armor. It is primarily engineered for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on heavy fluid-film bearing machinery. The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System has a 3.94 V/mm (100 mV/mil) output for non-contacting vibration and displacement measurements on fluid film bearing machines. The large 11 mm tip enables this transducer system to have a longer linear range compared to our standard 3300 XL 8 mm Transducer System.
Application:
Mining & Heavy Processing: Monitors massive fans, gearboxes, and large grinding mill drives operating under high structural loads.
Axial (Thrust) Position Measurements: Monitoring the horizontal movement of a machine's shaft relative to its casing. This prevents catastrophic internal structural contact during operation.
Generators: Tracks radial vibration and thermal growth of the rotor assembly during heavy load shifts.
Iron & Steel Mills: Deployed on massive air blast furnace blowers and rolling mill gearboxes.

Q:Can I use a different system length cable with this probe?
A:No. Because this specific part number dictates a 5.0-meter total system length (Option -50), it must only be used in a total physical loop length matching 5.0 meters. If using an extension cable, the probe length plus the extension cable length must equal exactly 5.0 meters to maintain calibration accuracy.
Q:What component must this probe connect to?
A:This probe cannot be wired directly into a standard control system panel. It must connect via its armored cable to a dedicated 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor (such as the 330780 series). The Proximitor converts the high-frequency RF signal into a steady, readable voltage.
Q:What are the torque guidelines for installing a 5/8-18 thread probe case?
A:Recommended torque: Do not exceed 33.9 N·m (25 ft·lb) during bracket mounting.Over-tightening can deform the probe case, damaging the internal coil assembly and altering the nominal gap sensor calibration.
