Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330703-000-100-50-12-00 is an industrial 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe used for non-contacting machinery vibration and displacement measurements. It is a critical component of the 3300 XL 11mm Proximity Transducer System.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

Centrifugal Machines: Ideal for vibration and displacement measurements on large machines using fluid-film bearings.

Rotational Timing: Provides phase reference (Keyphasor) signals, tachometer readings, and zero-speed measurements.

A:While the 3300 XL 11mm probe tip uses robust Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), environments with highly acidic or highly basic pH values can slowly erode the tip assembly, leading to fluid leakage.
Q:What is the target material used for factory calibration?
A:The system is factory-calibrated by default to a flat, AISI 4140 steel target that is 31 mm (1.2 in) or larger in diameter. Measurements taken on other alloys will deviate from standard accuracy unless the system is specifically recalibrated.
Q:What are the main applications for the 11 mm proximity probe system?
A:.Due to its broad 4.0 mm (160 mils) linear range, it is chosen for applications requiring significant positional travel. This includes axial (thrust) position tracking, steam turbine differential expansion, reciprocating compressor rod drop monitoring, and zero-speed tachometer/Keyphasor applications.
