Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330701-00-20-90-02-CN is a 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe, which is a component of the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Transducer System. This system is primarily for high-precision vibration and position monitoring in critical industrial machinery, particularly where a longer linear range (up to 4 mm) is required compared to standard 8 mm sensors.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

Reciprocating Compressors: The 11 mm probe is utilized for measuring rod position or rod drop, helping to monitor the health of reciprocating components.
Fluid-Film Bearing Machines: Its primary application is measuring radial vibration and position on machines that use fluid-film bearings, where it detects rotor shaft movement within the bearing clearance.
Speed Measurement: Used as a tachometer for zero speed and rotational speed monitoring.

A:No. Because this specific option features a -90 (9.0-meter) total integrated cable, it connects directly from the machine's casing area to a matching 9.0-meter 3300 XL Proximitor Sensor. Adding an extension cable here would mismatch the tuned 1 MHz resonant frequency loop and distort measurements.
Q:How tightly should I join the coaxial ClickLoc connector?
A:Connectors must only be finger-tight. Never use pliers or wrenches on the gold-plated brass ClickLoc fittings, as this will crush the core and ruin the RF path.
Q:What is the recommended installation gap?
A:For a 9.0-meter system length, the recommended gap setting is 2.5 mm (100 mils), which translates to a physical gap voltage sweet spot of roughly -9 V to -11 V DC when properly centered.
