Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330400-01-CN accelerometer transducer coupled with the 130539-32 splash-resistant interconnect cable is heavily targeted at critical machine health monitoring and predictive maintenance across heavy industries. These accelerometers are intended for critical machinery applications where casing acceleration measurements are required, such as gear mesh monitoring. It provides an amplitude range of 50 g peak and a sensitivity of 100 mV/g. The 330425 is identical except it provides a larger amplitude range (75 g peak) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g.
Application:
Power Generation: Used in thermal, hydroelectric, and nuclear power plants. The accelerometer monitors rolling-element bearing degradation and rotor imbalances on mid-to-large-sized steam and gas turbines.
Chemical & Petrochemical Processing: Installed on critical process air compressors, mixers, and large exhaust fans where hazardous vapors require isolated, highly certified equipment.
Mining & Heavy Manufacturing: Placed in high-impact environments on raw material crushers, conveyors, and ball mills where vibration forces must be carefully constrained to preserve machine integrity.
Oil & Gas (Upstream & Downstream): Extensively deployed on extraction platforms, cross-country pipelines, and refinery units. It continuously tracks structural anomalies on high-pressure Refinery Pumps and gas compressors to avoid unexpected downtime.

Q:How is the sensor mounted?
A:It must be screwed directly onto a flat, smooth, and clean surface on the bearing housing or machine casing using its integral 1/4-28 UNF thread. Improper torque or an uneven surface will degrade frequency response and cause false signals.
Q:Can I extend the 32 ft cable?
A:Yes. The maximum overall system cable length can reach up to 305 metres (1000 feet). However, because this is the -CN version for hazardous locations, you must derate the total distance according to local barrier capacitance and inductance safety rules.
Q:What are the physical traits of the 130539-32 cable?
A:It is a heavy-duty, 3-conductor shielded 18 AWG cable. It features a 3-pin MIL-C-5015 receptacle connection with a splash-resistant fluorosilicone elastomer boot at one end and terminal lugs at the other.
