This eddy-current sensor configuration is specifically designed for critical vibration and position tracking on industrial machinery in severe temperature environments.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Q:What pressure-sealing capabilities does this probe have?

However, factory units are not pressure-tested before shipping. If your machinery case experiences high static vacuum or extreme oil pressure, you must request custom hydrostatic pressure testing directly from the manufacturer.

A:No. Transducer system length matching is rigid. Because this model contains an integrated 5.0-meter cable (Option -50), it can only be paired directly with a matching 5-meter Proximitor sensor without an extra extension cable, or used as a complete 5-meter loop. Mixing total physical system lengths (e.g., matching a 5m probe setup to a 9m Proximitor) ruins calibration and causes massive voltage-to-mil scaling errors.
