Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330180-X1-00 MOD: 145004-30 3300XL 5mm/8mm Proximitor Sensor delivers advanced performance in our eddy current proximity transducer systems. The standard 3300 XL 8 mm 5-meter system also fully complies with the American Petroleum Institute’s (API) 670 Standard for mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8 mm proximity transducer systems provide this level of performance and support complete interchangeability of probes, extension cables, and Proximitor sensors, eliminating the need to match or bench calibrate individual components.

Q:What happens if I use a standard 330180 sensor instead of this MOD version?
A:Using a standard sensor on an AISI 420 shaft will cause scale factor errors. Because different metals have distinct magnetic and electrical properties, the standard 200 mV/mil (7.87 V/mm) output sensitivity will drift, resulting in inaccurate vibration or thrust position readings.
Q:What probes and cables are compatible with this sensor?
A:This Proximitor is fully compatible with all 5mm and 8mm 3300 or 3300 XL proximity probes and their matching extension cables. However, ensure the total electrical length of your probe and extension cable equals 9 meters to match the sensor's tuning

Q:Do I need separate electrical isolation plates for mounting?
A:No. The integrated mounting base provides built-in electrical isolation, eliminating the need for separate isolator plates when securing it to the DIN rail
