Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330104-05-12-05-02-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Oil & Gas / Petrochemical: Used on critical process gas compressors, mud pumps, and refinery turbomachinery.
Power Generation: Installed inside gas and steam turbines, as well as hydro-generators, to track rotor health.

A:By default, Bently Nevada 3300 XL Proximitor Sensors are factory-calibrated to AISI 4140 steel. Using the sensor on other conductive target materials will alter the scale factor and compromise accuracy unless specifically re-calibrated.
Q:What type of connector does this probe use?
A:It comes with a gold-plated, corrosion-resistant ClickLoc coaxial connector. This feature requires only finger-tight torque, clicking into place to secure the connection dynamically without needing specialized tools.

Q:What are the environmental and temperature limits?
A:The probe tip is constructed from Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) and stainless steel, supporting an operational temperature range of -52 °C to +177 °C (-62 °F to +350 °F).
