The Bently Nevada 330104-00-08-10-02-05 is a rugged 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probe designed for accurate non-contact measurement in industrial condition monitoring systems. As part of the 3300 XL series, it is engineered for reliable vibration and displacement measurement of rotating machinery.

Process Gas Compressors:Prevents catastrophic bearing friction by providing real-time data on oil film stability.
Steam and Gas Turbines: Tracks continuous critical shaft vibration and thrust positions to prevent blade-to-casing rub.
Industrial Alternators: Evaluates thermal growth, position shift, and alignment safety during high electrical output.

Q:What is its standard gap voltage and how to verify it?
A:Its standard calibration gap voltage is -10.0 Vdc, at which point the probe tip is approximately 1.27 mm from the metal shaft surface. Users can use a multimeter with a Bently Nevada TK-3 calibrator to measure the preamplifier output for accurate verification.
Q:Can it be used with older components or cable systems of different lengths?
A:This probe cannot be used with other calibers or non-XL series preamplifiers. Due to its 1.0-meter length, it must be strictly paired with a 4.0-meter or 9.0-meter extension cable to perfectly form a 5-meter or 10-meter standard preamplifier system to ensure measurement accuracy.

Q:Does the ClickLoc connector require tools or tape protection during installation?
A:The ClickLoc connector features a tool-free, shockproof design that locks with a click when tightened by hand. However, in oily or humid industrial environments, a connector protective sleeve or self-adhesive tape must still be applied to prevent short circuits due to moisture.
