Product Description:

The 330103-00-06-10-12-05 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probes provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

A:The probe delivers a 2.0 mm (80 mil) linear range. The measurement window typically begins at a gap distance of 0.25 mm (10 mils) from the target surface, yielding a proportional output voltage from -1 to -17 Vdc across the system.
Q:What is FluidLoc cable and why is it used?
A:The FluidLoc cable option (-12) is engineered with an internal seal that prevents oil, moisture, and other process liquids from leaking out of the machine housing through the inside of the cable. It is highly recommended for environments with severe fluid exposure.

Q:Does this part require matching or field calibration?
A:No. The Bently Nevada 3300 XL 8 mm series features complete physical and electrical interchangeability. The probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor can be swapped out individually without requiring system re-calibration or bench matching, provided they are measuring a standard AISI 4140 steel target.
