Product Description:

The 330101-00-50-15-02-05 provides an output voltage directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface. It is capable of both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements, and is primarily used for vibration and position measurement applications on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor® and speed measurement applications.

Steam and Gas Turbines: Monitors continuous radial vibration and axial thrust position of the main rotor shaft.
Generators: Tracks shaft displacement and thermal expansion alignment inside large power generation units.
Boiler Feedwater Pumps: Safeguards high-pressure fluid-film bearing pumps from unexpected breakdowns.
Large Compressor Units: Measures structural vibration and shaft movement in multi-stage centrifugal and reciprocating gas compressors.

A:The probe continuously measures the distance (gap) between its tip and a rotating shaft. The paired Proximitor sensor converts this distance into a proportional voltage signal (7.87 V/mm or 200 mV/mil) to measure radial vibration, axial position (thrust), speed, or phase reference (Keyphasor).
Q:What are the design benefits of ClickLoc connectors?
A:The 02 option specifies gold-plated brass ClickLoc connectors. These are designed to be finger-tightened until they click, preventing them from loosening over time due to machine vibration without requiring special tools.

Q:What are its temperature limitations?
A:The probe head and standard cable are designed to operate reliably within a temperature envelope of -35°C to +200°C (-31°F to +392°F) for extended periods.
