Product Description:
The 200150-18-05 is a general-purpose, housing-mounted Trendmaster Pro accelerometer used to measure high-frequency housing vibrations in rotating machinery. The 20015x series accelerometers are general-purpose, wideband, housing-mounted seismic sensors compatible with Trendmaster ProTIM series modules. This accelerometer is also compatible with the Trendmaster 2000 system and can be used with the following modules and monitors: the 200100 dual-channel accelerometer-to-velocity conversion flexiTIM module, the 89130-01 accelerometer-to-velocity conversion TIM, and the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.

Q:What kind of connection cable does it require?
A:The transducer uses a top-mounted 5-pin connector for signal output. It typically mates with a 4-conductor, 22 AWG braided shield cable featuring an outer PVC jacket. When properly coupled, the connection provides an IP67 seal against dust and moisture ingress.
Q:Can this sensor be calibrated in the field?
A:Yes. The 200150 family can be checked using standard portable shakers. For instance, The Modal Shop 9110D Portable Vibration Calibrator offers specific calibration templates and firmware updates to seamlessly test Bently Nevada Trendmaster sensors.
Q:What is the required installation torque?
A:The sensor requires a mounting torque between 2.7 to 6.8 N⋅m (2 to 5 ft⋅lbf) to guarantee linear high-frequency transmission. Overtightening can permanently damage the internal ceramic shear element.
