Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 200150-15-CN is a general-purpose, case-mounted piezoelectric accelerometer primarily engineered for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of general-purpose rotating machinery. The 20015x Accelerometers are general purpose, wide frequency, case-mounted seismic transducers designed for use with Trendmaster ProTIMs. The 200150 Accelerometer also operates with the Trendmaster 2000 system. The accelerometer interfaces with the 200100 Dual Acceleration to Velocity flexiTIM Module and the 89130-01 Acceleration-to-Velocity TIM, as well as the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.
Application:
Power Generation Plants: Utilized heavily on secondary plant machinery such as boiler feed pumps, forced draft (FD) and induced draft (ID) fans, cooling tower gearboxes, and small auxiliary turbines.
Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Refineries: Mounted on process pumps, air compressors, mixers, and centrifuges located inside hazardous areas requiring explosion-proof ratings.
Water and Wastewater Treatment: Deployed across large water distribution pumps, sludge pumps, blowers, and mechanical aerators.
Pulp, Paper, and Steel Mills: Ideal for monitoring heavy-duty roller bearings, conveyor drives, exhaust fans, and agitation machinery operating under high moisture and temperature gradients.

Q:How should the sensor be mounted to the machine?
A:The sensor features a 3/8-24 female mounting thread at its base. It must be torqued to 2.7 to 6.8 N·m (2 to 5 ft·lbf) onto the machine casing using the included hex plate stud. Ensure the sensitive axis of the transducer is perfectly parallel to the direction of the vibration you intend to monitor.
Q:Can I use magnetic mounts or adhesives?
A:While possible, using magnetic or adhesive mounts attenuates high-frequency signals. For precise casing vibration tracking, direct stud-mounting is highly recommended.
Q:What cable is compatible with this model?
A:It uses the 200151 or 200152 standard interface cables. The mating hardware typically provides an IP67-rated environmental seal.
