Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 200150-07-05 is a general-purpose, case-mounted piezoelectric accelerometer. This industrial-grade sensor measures vibration on assets like pumps, fans, and motors, translating physical stress into a differential voltage signal. The 20015x Accelerometers are general purpose, wide frequency, case-mounted seismic transducers designed for use with Trendmaster ProTIMs. The 200150 Accelerometer also operates with the Trendmaster 2000 system. The accelerometer interfaces with the 200100 Dual Acceleration to Velocity flexiTIM Module and the 89130-01 Acceleration-to-Velocity TIM (Transducer Interface Module), as well as the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.

Chemical & Petrochemical Refining: Measuring vibrations on critical process agitators, chemical transfer pumps, blenders, and extruder motors operating under explosive atmospheres requiring its -05 hazardous rating.
Pulp, Paper, & Manufacturing: Monitoring dry-end and wet-end process fans, rolling mills, conveyor motors, and multi-stage utility gearboxes.

Q:Can it be used in outdoor or harsh environments?
A:Yes. The transducer features a hermetically sealed 316L stainless steel housing that shrugs off chemical exposure and humidity. It handles temperatures from –40 °C to +105 °C and shock limits up to 5,000 g.
Q:What cabling protects the top connector?
A:The sensor links via a top-mounted 5-pin connector. To defend the interface from moisture or thermal shock, apply Dow Corning DC4 electrical insulating compound directly into the connector sockets before locking it down.
Q:What is the function of this sensor?
A:The sensor measures machine casing vibration. A built-in ceramic piezoelectric element generates a electrical charge under mechanical stress. This charge converts to a differential analog voltage signal proportional to the parallel acceleration.
