Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 200150-04-05 is a general-purpose, housing-mounted piezoelectric accelerometer designed for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of business operation (BOP) equipment. The 20015x series accelerometers are general-purpose, wideband housing-mounted seismic sensors compatible with Trendmaster ProTIM. The 200150 accelerometer is also compatible with the Trendmaster 2000 system and can be used with the following modules and monitors: the 200100 dual-channel accelerometer-to-velocity conversion flexiTIM module, the 89130-01 accelerometer-to-velocity conversion TIM (sensor interface module), and the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.

Q:How is the sensor constructed for harsh environments?
A:The accelerometer features a hermetically sealed, stainless steel case. It has a top-mounted, 5-pin electrical connector and achieves an IP67 weatherproofing rating when mated to its accompanying molded cable.
Q:Can the cables withstand extreme cold?
A:The standard cable assembly has an operating temperature range of -20 °C to +100 °C (-4 °F to +212 °F). It can be deployed in lower temperatures only if the cable is fully anchored and prevented from moving or flexing, as low-temperature bending will crack the PVC outer jacket.
Q:How do you verify or calibrate this accelerometer?
A:Field verification can be carried out using a portable shaker table like The Modal Shop Portable Vibration Calibrator. When driving the shaker at a baseline frequency of 80 Hz at 1.0 g peak, the expected output voltage from a healthy sensor should register approximately 100 mV/g with a differential bias near 2.5 V DC.
