Product Description:

The 190501-22-00-CN Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Cooling Tower Fan Assemblies: Measures absolute structural and casing vibration on massive industrial cooling towers.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Monitors unbalanced blades and mechanical flexing on overhead or high-altitude fan setups.
Slow-Speed Industrial Fans & Blowers: Tracks low-frequency rotor defects and structural support vibration in petrochemical plants and HVAC infrastructure.
Drive Trains: Monitors the combined vibration generated by the fan motor, structural base, and speed reducer/gearbox.
