Product Description:

The 190501-21-00-CN sensor is a Bently Nevada Velomitor CT velocity sensor. This sensor utilizes piezoelectric velocity sensing technology and is specifically designed for low-speed rotating equipment such as cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchanger fans. It has intrinsically safe explosion-proof certification, making it suitable for hazardous areas, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +121°C.

Application:

Water & Wastewater Treatment Facilities: Used to monitor large water pumps, agitators, and aeration blowers due to the sensor's robust resistance to high-humidity environments.
Low-Speed Industrial Blowers & Fans: Ideal for heavy-duty draft fans, ventilation fans, and exhaust systems operating at speeds as low as 90 rpm (up to 54,000 rpm).
Hazardous Petrochemical Areas: The -CN certified explosion-proof rating makes it safe for continuous machinery monitoring inside refineries, oil & gas processing plants, and chemical production zones requiring localized compliance.
Cooling Tower Fan Assemblies: This is the primary intended design application. It monitors casing vibrations on the fan motor, drive shafts, and speed reduction gearboxes to prevent catastrophic blade or gear failures.
