The Bently Nevada 190501-15-00-00 is a specific part number configuration for the Bently Nevada Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer, To track casing vibration on low-speed cooling tower and heat-exchanger fan assemblies operating at or above 90 RPM The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration
frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Water Treatment & Power Generation: Protecting slow-speed water pumps, circulating fans, and hydro-associated rotating assets.
Industrial Vent Fans & Blowers: Deployed on massive slow-turning ventilation systems operating at or above 90 RPM.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Monitoring external structural casing of large air cooler arrays common in arid manufacturing climates.

Q:How does it differ from a standard Velomitor?
A:It is a specialty low-frequency variant. Standard vibration sensors can be blind to the low-frequency movements of slow fan blades. The 190501 model extends its frequency range down to 1.5 Hz (90 CPM) to catch imbalances or misalignments at slow operating speeds
Q:What cable and mating connector should be used?
A:It uses a standard MIL-C-5015 top-mount 2-pin connector. This typically pairs with a shielded, twisted-pair cable (like 20 AWG Teflon-jacketed cables). The system can support total cable runs up to 305 meters (1,000 feet) without degrading signal quality.
Q:WCan it be mounted horizontally or upside down?
A:Yes. The transducer can be installed in any physical orientation on the machinery housing. However, the housing surface must be smooth, flat (33 mm minimum diameter), and torqued carefully to 4.5 N-m (40 in-lbf) to maintain proper frequency conduction.
