Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-11-99-00 is a Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer. It is primarily used on cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchangers operating at or above 90 rpm.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical).

Application:

Power Generation Plants: Tracking structural casing vibrations on massive induced-draft (ID) and forced-draft (FD) cooling fans.
Petrochemical & Refining: Protecting low-speed fan components in critical heat extraction and chemical distillation loops.
Industrial Water & Wastewater Treatment: Placed on slow-speed basin aerators, clarifier drives, and large pumps.
Cooling Towers: Monitoring large, slow-spinning fan blades, drive shafts, and gearboxes to prevent structural failures.
