Product Description:
The 190501-11-00-CN Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency piezoelectric velocity sensor designed for cooling towers and air-cooled heat exchanger fan components. It is suitable for low-speed rotating equipment with speeds not less than 90 rpm , accurately measuring vibration amplitude and frequency generated by fan motors and speed reducers within this frequency band. The sensor features a robust stainless steel housing and offers cable exit options with conduit adapters or armored cables.
Application:
Cooling Tower Fan Assemblies: This is the primary target application. The sensor is optimized for the very low-frequency casing vibrations typical of massive, slow-moving cooling tower fans
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Widely used to monitor the structural casing and fan assembly components in large air coolers.
Low-Speed Industrial Fans: Specifically engineered for machinery that operates at or above 90 RPM (most typically within the 100 to 300 RPM range).
