The Bently Nevada 190501-11-00-01 is a specific configuration of the Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer, As a low-frequency adaptation of the standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor, this transducer is purpose-built for measuring casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies operating at rotational speeds of 90 rpm or higher, with typical applications falling within the 100 to 300 rpm range. In addition to accurately capturing vibration amplitudes at these low fundamental frequencies, the Velomitor CT Transducer is equally capable of detecting the higher-frequency vibration components generated by the fan motor and speed reducer, making it well-suited for low-speed rotating machinery where conventional vibration sensors fail to maintain accurate frequency response.
