Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-10-00-04 is a dedicated low-frequency variant of the Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer produced by Bently Nevada. In addition to capturing vibration amplitudes at these low fundamental frequencies, the Velomitor CT Transducer is equally capable of detecting the higher-frequency vibration components originating from the fan motor and speed reducer.

A:Mount the unit onto a smooth, flat 33 mm (1.3 in) diameter surface area. Tighten the sensor body strictly to a mounting torque value of 4.5 N-m ± 0.6 N-m (40 in-lbf ± 5 in-lbf). Incorrect torque figures directly degrade frequency output or generate false signals.
Q:What are its temperature operating boundaries?
A:The transducer operates seamlessly within a temperature envelope of -40 °C to +85 °C (-40 °F to +185 °F). Safe non-operating storage temperatures range from -40 °C to +100 °C.

Q:Can I use long cable runs with this version?
A:Yes. The sensor supports standard twisted-pair shielded cabling up to a maximum distance of 305 meters (1,000 feet) with zero signal degradation.
