Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-10-00-01 is a specific part number configuration for the Velomitor CT (Cooling Tower) Velocity Transducer. This low-frequency piezo-velocity sensor is designed primarily to monitor casing vibration on low-speed cooling tower fans and air-cooled heat exchangers operating at or above 90 RPM.The Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibration amplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Application:

Power Generation Facilities: Deployed on the ancillary cooling tower infrastructure of thermal, nuclear, and combined-cycle power plants.
Industrial Water Treatment Processing: Applied to low-speed circulating water pumps, wastewater aerators, and large mixing agitators.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Monitors structural vibrations caused by slow-speed heavy fan blades in petrochemical and refining infrastructure.
Wet and Dry Cooling Towers: Used across industrial processing plants to measure fan assembly casing vibration. It actively suppresses low-frequency aerodynamic noise and mechanical cross-talk standard sensors suffer from in wet environments.
