Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-01-00-01 Velomitor CT Velocity Transducer is a low-frequency version of our standard Velomitor Piezo-velocity Sensor. Its design specifically measures casing vibration velocity on cooling tower and air-cooled heat-exchanger fan assemblies that operate at or above 90 rpm (100 to 300 rpm typical). The Velomitor CT Transducer can measure vibrationamplitudes at these frequencies as well as the vibration frequencies generated by the fan motor and speed reducer.

Application:

Cooling Tower Fan Assemblies: It detects structural and mechanical imbalances in large, slow-moving cooling fans utilized across power generation and chemical processing plants.
Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers (Fin-Fans): Monitors high-vibration casing areas where fans regulate process temperatures.
Petrochemical & Refining Equipment: Frequently installed on critical machinery inside oil refineries and gas processing facilities due to its hazardous area electrical certifications.
Slow-Speed Industrial Pumps & Motors: Protects associated drive systems, reducing gears, and fluid pumps operating within the 100 to 300 RPM threshold.
