Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 177230-01-01-05 is a loop-powered Seismic Vibration Transmitter paired with the 16925-15 interconnect cable. It measures vibration velocity and converts it into a standard 4-20 mA output signal.The 177230 Seismic Transmitter is a simple, loop-powered device that can be quickly and easily installed. It can be integrated into your programmable logic controller (PLC) or controls system linked to a plant asset condition monitoring solution. Its simple design reduces training, maintenance, and service costs. The transducer helps you better manage downtime, optimize maintenance planning, and avoid unforeseen catastrophic failures of machinery assets.
Application:
Power Generation: Standard casing vibration tracking on small steam or gas turbines, cooling tower fans, water pumps, coal pulverizers, and auxiliary blowers.
Oil & Gas / Petrochemical: Continuous monitoring of small centrifugal or reciprocating pumps, heat exchanger fans, mixers, and secondary compressors.
Water & Wastewater Treatment: Protective monitoring for large intake pumps, aeration blowers, centrifuges, and clarifies.
