Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 177230-02-01-05 is a loop-powered seismic transmitter to monitor vibration on non-critical rotating machinery, paired with the 16710-34 armored interconnect cable. This hardware combination converts case velocity vibration into an industry-standard 4–20 mA analog signal, allowing direct integration into PLCs, DCSs, or SCADA control systems without requiring a dedicated rack system.The 177230 Seismic Transmitter is a simple, loop-powered device that can be quickly and easily installed. It can be
integrated into your programmable logic controller (PLC) or controls system linked to a plant asset condition monitoring solution. Its simple design reduces training, maintenance, and service costs.
Application:
Oil & Gas / Petrochemical: Installed on secondary assets like transfer pumps, lubrication skid motors, and auxiliary gas compressors in refineries and processing plants.
Power Generation: Used for general vibration telemetry on balance-of-plant machinery, including draft fans, water distribution pumps, and coal mill secondary gear setups.
