The Acromag / Xembedded / Xycom XVME-976 adapter module provides I/O expansion for Xycom’s XVME-654, XVME-655, XVME-689, and XVME-690 VMEbus PC/AT processor modules.

Direct connection is possible with the XVME-654. Connections with the XVME-655 require a transition board, such as the XVME-978/1 Ethernet card, or XVME-978/100 transition module, which plug into the XVME-655 and provide the mechanical and electrical connections for the XVME-976. These products utilize the ISA or PCI bus signals from the PC Processor and allow the user to expand their I/O system using industry standard PMC, PC/104, ¾ length ISA or PCI cards.

XVME-660:
• XVME-976/1 - Occupies one slot, provides one PMC and one PC/104 expansion site
• XVME-976/104 - Occupies one slot, provides two PC/104 expansion sites

XVME-661, XVME-653:
• XVME-976/201 - Occupies one slot, provides one PMC and one PC/104 expansion site
• XVME-976/202 - Occupies two slots, provides one ¾ length ISA expansion site
• XVME-976/203 - Occupies one slot, provides two PMC expansion sites
• XVME-976/204 - Occupies one slot, provides two PC/104 expansion sites
• XVME-976/205 - Occupies two slots, provides one PCI expansion site

XVME-689, XVME-690:
• XVME-976-209 - Occupies one slot, provides two PMC expansion sites
