The ICS Triplex TC-301-02-2M5 Local Expansion Cable is a Trusted® system communication cable designed for use within the ICS Triplex Trusted™ Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) safety platform. It is specifically engineered to provide reliable local expansion communication between the Trusted TMR Expander Processor T8310 and the Expander Interface Adapter T8312. The cable ensures deterministic, high-integrity signal transmission in safety-critical industrial automation applications where redundancy, fault tolerance, and continuous operation are essential.The cable assembly uses industrial-grade screened Cat 6 Plus cable construction with a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) sheath to improve electromagnetic compatibility and fire safety performance in hazardous environments. The Expander Processor side is equipped with a 96-way Type-C connector housed in a double-width hood with integrated earth braid shielding, while the adapter side uses a precision 12-way LEMO connector for secure and vibration-resistant operation.
