The SNB10D-425/CU2N safety node unit has an interface function to transmit analog input signals and contact signals from the field to the safety control unit via an ESB bus.It also has a function to supply power to I/O modules.The safety node unit is mounted with power supply modules, ESB bus interface modules, optical ESB bus repeater modules, and I/O modules.
The SNB10D-425/CU2N unit is designed to operate with a 220 to 240 V AC power supply, ensuring compatibility with standard industrial power systems used in control cabinet environments. The SNB10D safety node unit is built to meet ISA Standard G3 environmental requirements and is capable of operating within a temperature range of -20 to 70 °C.
Application:
Oil and gas: Connecting offshore drilling platforms with onshore terminals or different production stations in large oil and gas fields.
Large-scale refining and petrochemical: Connecting multiple independent production units such as refineries, ethylene, and aromatics.
Electricity industry: Interconnection between the main control system of power plants and remote auxiliary workshops (such as water treatment and desulfurization units).
Long-distance pipelines: Various pressurization stations and metering stations of natural gas or refined oil pipelines.
Core Function:
Safety Level: Compliant with IEC 61508 SIL3 standard, suitable for safety protection in high-risk industrial processes.
Expansion Capability: Each safety control station (SCS) can connect up to 13 SNB10D units (when using SEC402 bus coupling module).
Communication: Communicates with the main control unit via ESB bus or fiber optic ESB bus. It is recommended to use a 1-meter or longer YCB301 cable during connection.
