Part of the Maestro range of DC brushed servo drives, the Control Techniques 140X8/16 was designed as a cost-effective solution to low power DC servo applications. Due to its powerful and accurate motor control capabilities you can find the Midi Maestro range of drives used in a diverse range of applications from positioning and indexing through to robotics and transfer lines.
A wide range of features such as silent operation, switch selectable armature feedback and independently adjustable accel/decel ramps make this a popular DC drive. They also feature a plug-in customisation module for fine tuning and accurate set up making the 140X8/16 closely match your application.
The DCD140X8/16 has a 105VAC input voltage, a nominal output of 8 A and a peak current for two seconds of 16 A. It comes with an internal braking resistor fitted as standard like the other DC brushed servo drives in the Midi Maestro range.
