The output points for this device can be either positive logic or sourcing types. Each output point performs load switching and provides power to the loads. This product is compatible with IC200CHS series of interposing relay bases.

Product Description
The IC200MDL740 is an output module from the VersaMax family manufactured by General Electric Intelligent Platforms Control Systems Solutions.This device requires a secondary power source to support output load switching. The amount of current consumed from a five-volt output power supply cannot exceed 45 milliamps. The operating voltage for this module is anywhere from 10.2 to 30 volts of direct current (DC). While this device has a nominal voltage of 24 volts DC, it can also operate at 12 volts DC; however, operating at 12 volts DC will require an upgrade to the IC200MDL740B or later.
The current for each output point is 0.5 amperes, and the response time is 0.2 milliseconds for the “on” state and 1.0 millisecond for the “off” state. Channel to channel isolation is not supported, nor are any protection mechanisms such as internal fuses. Output voltage drop peaks at 0.3 volts, and when operating at 30 volts DC, the output leakage is up to 0.5 milliamps. LED lights indicate device status. These LED lights require field power to operate but are unaffected by output load conditions. The IC200MDL740 also supports thermal derating when operating at 24 or 30 volts DC.
