It is used when a proximity probe needs to be mounted externally through the machine case while maintaining easy access for probe adjustment, inspection, and replacement. The housing assembly allows technicians to adjust the probe gap or replace the probe and extension cable without requiring machine disassembly. This configuration is supplied as a housing assembly without a proximity probe, probe cable, or standoff adapter. The model 31000-00-00-15-051-01-02 features a 5.1-inch probe penetration option, one M25 conduit fitting with two sealing plugs, and an M24 × 3 mounting thread.
