Description

The Bently Nevada 31000-00-00-15-023-01-02 is a 31000 Proximity Probe Housing Assembly designed to provide a protected mounting arrangement for proximity probes installed through rotating machinery casings. This housing assembly is used to provide mechanical and environmental protection for the probe installation while allowing external access to the proximity probe and extension cable for probe gap adjustment or replacement without requiring machine disassembly. This configuration is supplied without a proximity probe, probe cable, or standoff adapter, and includes a 2.3-inch probe penetration option, one M25 conduit fitting with two sealing plugs, and an M24 × 3 mounting thread. The housing body is manufactured from glass-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) thermoplastic, while other components are made from corrosion-resistant stainless steel to provide reliable performance in industrial environments.
