The Bently Nevada 9200-01-02-07-04 is a specific configuration of the 9200 Seismoprobe Velocity Transducer System. Hydroelectric Generators: Assessing low-frequency structural movement on the stator frame or bearing housings.

Balance of Plant (BOP) Equipment: Protecting auxiliary pumps and fans required for continuous plant uptime.
Electric Motors: Protecting high-horsepower induction motors running at standard industrial speeds.

Q:What does the isolated mounting base do?

A:The -07 base option introduces an isolated 1/4-28 UNF stud. This configuration physically and electrically isolates the sensor body from the machine casing frame. This isolation helps eliminate potential electrical ground loops and prevents high-amplitude industrial electrical noise from corrupting the low-voltage dynamic signal
Q:What is the maximum transmission distance for the signal wire?
A:You can run a maximum lead wire length of up to 305 meters (1,000 feet) between the 9200 transducer and your legacy 3300 or modern 3500 Machinery Protection System Monitor. Note that extended distances may cause high-frequency signal roll-off depending on the cabling characteristics.

Q:Can I mount this sensor vertically?
A:No. The -01 modification signifies that this transducer is calibrated specifically for a horizontal installation layout of 0° ±2.5°. Mounting a moving-coil sensor outside its calibrated orientation will cause the internal spring-mass suspension mechanism to sag or bind, leading to severe tracking errors or complete component lockup.
