Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 330904-00-18-10-01-05 3300 XL NSv Proximity Transducer System design allows it to replace both the 3300 RAM Transducer Systems and the 3000-series or 7000-series 190 Transducer System. Upgrades from the 3300 RAM system to the 3300 XL NSv system may use the existing probe, extension cable, and monitoring.

Centrifugal Air Compressors: Used to monitor precise radial vibration and shaft position in heavy-duty industrial air compressors that operate with narrow internal clearances.
Industrial Refrigeration Plants: Integrated directly into large-scale chiller and cooling compressor packages for continuous thrust (axial) position supervision.
Process Gas Compressors: Deployed in chemical, petrochemical, and oil & gas facilities to ensure the physical stability of high-speed rotating elements.
Fluid-Filmed Bearing Machines: Tailored for smaller rotating machinery running on fluid-film bearings where the shaft diameter is tight.

A:The system features a linear range of 1.5 mm (60 mils). It produces an industry-standard average scale factor (electrical sensitivity) of 7.87 V/mm (200 mV/mil) when connected to a matching 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor.
Q:What type of target material is required for accurate calibration?
A:Unless configured otherwise at the factory, standard accuracy and interchangeability specifications rely on a Bently Nevada-supplied AISI 4140 steel target. The target surface must be at least 31 mm (1.2 inches) in diameter for radial vibration or 15 mm for axial position to avoid scale factor degradation.

Q:What are the temperature limits for this hardware?
A:The operating and storage temperature limits for the probe body and extension cable range from -35°C to +200°C (-31°F to +392°F). It can withstand short-term exposure up to +250°C (+482°F) for less than 24 hours.
