Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330704-000-070-10-01-CN is a specific part number variant of the 3300 XL 11 mm Proximity Probe series, commonly deployed for non-contacting industrial vibration and machinery displacement monitoring.The 3300 XL 11 mm Proximitor Sensor is designed to replace the 7200-series 11 mm and 14 mm Transducer Systems. When upgrading from the 7200-series system to the 3300 XL 11 mm system, every component must be replaced with 3300 XL 11 mm components. In addition, the monitoring system must be updated. If using a 3500 Monitoring System, an updated
version of the configuration software that lists the 3300 XL 11 mm Transducer System as a compatible option is required.

A:No. The -01 suffix designates a standard unarmored cable jacket configuration. If your operating machinery requires extreme environmental protection or submergence in aggressive chemicals, you should look for variants utilizing the -02 (armored cable) option.
Q:What is the typical gap voltage setting for installation?
A:During installation, the sensor must be positioned to operate within its linear range. For the 3300 XL family, a normal gap voltage of approximately −9 V DC to −11 V DC is expected when the target face is perfectly centered relative to the probe.
Q:Why choose an 11 mm probe over a standard 8 mm probe?
A:The 11 mm probe features a wider tip diameter, which provides a longer linear measurement range. It allows for accurate tracking on machines where large shaft movements or thermal expansion push the limits of smaller 8 mm sensors.
