Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330425-01-00 is a high-performance casing accelerometer.These accelerometers are intended for critical machinery applications where casing acceleration measurements are required, such as gear mesh monitoring. The 330400 is designed to address the requirements of American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 for accelerometers. It provides an amplitude range of 50 g peak and a sensitivity of 100 mV/g. The 330425 is identical except it provides a larger amplitude range (75 g peak) and a sensitivity of 25 mV/g.

Power Generation: Standard power plants utilizing steam, gas, or hydro turbines, high-capacity cooling tower fans, and water feed pumps.
Oil & Gas (Non-Hazardous Zones): Midstream and downstream processing plants, transport piping stations, and refinery areas that are designated as safe/unclassified zones.
Mining & Metal Processing: High-torque rock crushers, conveyors, grinding mills, and rolling mills that undergo severe mechanical shock and heavy vibration loads.
Pulp, Paper, & Water Treatment: High-speed paper machine rollers, industrial agitators, and massive wastewater distribution pumps.

Q:How does the system track sensor health automatically?
A:The monitoring rack employs an internal OK Circuit. This loop continuously injects a small supervisory trace to monitor field wiring for open circuits, short circuits, or transducer component malfunctions. If the bias voltage strays outside the expected -8.5 Vdc window, the system trips an "Not OK" status to suppress false vibration alarms.
Q:What is the maximum allowable cable length?
A:The signal can travel up to 305 metres (1,000 feet) using approved 3-conductor shielded cables with zero signal degradation.
Q:Can I integrate the signal into velocity?
A:Monitoring units can integrate the data to provide velocity metrics, but Bently Nevada advises extreme caution. If your goal is high-quality velocity measurements, you should use a dedicated Bently Nevada 330500 Velomitor Sensor instead.
