Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 330195-02-12-50-00 is an Extended Temperature Range (ETR), 3/8-24 UNF threaded, reverse-mount 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Probe for critical machinery asset protection. It tracks continuous vibration, thrust position, and speed metrics within high-stress industrial environments.The system provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.
Application:
Steam and Gas Turbines: Tracks rotor dynamic vibration and axial thermal expansion.
Centrifugal and Axial Compressors: Monitors radial shaft displacement under high-pressure aerodynamic loads.
Large Industrial Pumps: Measures shaft whip and position offsets in heavy-duty oil, water, or chemical transfer lines.
Generators and Motors: Provides raw signal data to detect imbalance, misalignment, or bearing degradation.
