Product Description:

The 330130-040-11-05 3300 XL Standard Extension Cable provides an accurate, stable signal output over a wide temperature range. All 3300 XL Proximity Transducer Systems achieve this level of performance with complete interchangeability of probe, extension cable, and Proximitor sensor, eliminating the need for individual component matching or bench calibration.

Application:

Oil & Gas / Petrochemical: Used on critical assets like centrifugal compressors, turbo-expanders, and multi-stage pumps processing flammable fluids.
Power Generation: Deployed on large steam turbines, gas turbines, and hydro-turbines to prevent catastrophic failure of power grids.
Heavy Manufacturing: Applied to heavy industrial fans, blowers, and large electric motors that drive continuous factory production lines.
Fluid-Film Bearing Machines: The cable transfers data required to measure static and dynamic shaft displacement inside fluid-film (sleeve) bearings. It helps prevent catastrophic machinery failure by tracking precise shaft oil-film clearances.

A:While the cable is durable, it is highly recommended to wrap the probe-to-extension-cable connection point with protective silicone tape if it will be directly exposed to turbine oil or fluids

Q:Are special tools needed to connect this to a probe?
A:No special tools are needed. ClickLoc connectors require only finger-tight torque. They feature a locking mechanism that prevents loosening from industrial vibration
