Product Description:
The 3300 XL probe and extension cable feature several design improvements over previous generations. A patented TipLoc molding method creates a stronger and more durable bond between the probe tip and the probe body. In addition, the probe cable uses a patented CableLoc design that provides 330 N (75 lbf) pull strength for a more secure connection between the probe cable and probe tip.
Optional FluidLoc cable technology is also available for 3300 XL 8 mm probes and extension cables. This option helps prevent oil and other liquids from leaking out of machinery through the interior of the cable, improving reliability in harsh industrial environments.
Application:
Steam Turbine Generators: Used for connecting sensor probes to proximity driver systems to support continuous differential expansion and rotor shaft vibration monitoring in fossil fuel and nuclear power plants.
Centrifugal and Axial Compressors: Used for transmitting high-frequency eddy-current signals from fluid-film bearing areas to machinery protection systems in petrochemical refineries and gas processing facilities.
Heavy-Duty Industrial Pumps: Used for delivering real-time shaft alignment and mechanical movement data from deep pump housings to monitoring systems in pipeline stations and water treatment plants.
Hydroelectric Water Turbines: Used for extending non-contact sensor connections for rotor dynamics and axial thrust position monitoring in large-scale hydropower facilities.
