The Bently Nevada 24701-28-05-65-105-03-02 Proximity Probe Housing Assemblies are available with Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals. They are rated explosion proof for hazardous areas. The 24701 housings are certified as CSA Type 4 enclosures and are fully compliant with the American Petroleum Institute's (API) 670 Standard for externally mounted proximity probe housings.

These housing assemblies are designed to accommodate 3300 XL 8 mm probes with connector protectors and approval options, providing reliable protection in extreme industrial environments. The standard probe cable length is 20 inches (0.5 meters), allowing flexible installation while maintaining signal integrity.

The 24701 housings include features such as a minimum probe penetration length of 3.1 inches (78.4 mm), a standoff adapter option that is not required for standard installations, one 3/4-14 NPT plug for fittings, and a 3/4-14 NPT mounting thread.
