Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 21505-00-60-10-02 8mm Standard Mount Proximity Probe are constructed of polyphenylene sulfide,(PPS), a high performance plastic capable of withstanding unusually harsh,wet and/or chemical environments.It used for critical rotating equipment including turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators.

The 7200 8 mm Proximity Transducer Systems are noncontacting,gap-to-voltage transducer systems that measure static as well as dynamic distances between the probe tip and the observed target. The general application is any requirement for an accurate, noncontacting displacement measurement.However, the most common use is for shaft position and vibration measurements on rotating and reciprocating machinery.

Electric power industry: Monitoring the rotor vibrations of steam turbines, gas turbines and hydro turbines in power plants.
Oil and gas: Early warning of mechanical faults for large centrifugal compressors and reciprocating compressors in refineries.
Petrochemical and refining: Monitoring the eccentricity, thermal expansion difference and rotational speed of key units.
Steel and metallurgy: Orthogonal vibration monitoring of rolling mills and their associated rotating equipment in steel plants.
