Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 21504-000-032-10-02 8mm Standard Mount Proximity Probe are constructed of polyphenylene sulfide,(PPS), a high performance plastic capable of withstanding unusually harsh,wet and/or chemical environments.It used for critical rotating equipment including turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators.

The 7200 8 mm Proximity Transducer Systems are noncontacting,gap-to-voltage transducer systems that measure static as well as dynamic distances between the probe tip and the observed target. The general application is any requirement for an accurate, noncontacting displacement measurement.However, the most common use is for shaft position and vibration measurements on rotating and reciprocating machinery.

Application:

Large thermal power plants: Monitoring of steam turbine bearing boxes of old units.
Steel mills and metallurgical plants: Monitoring of shaft vibrations of large blowers, sintering fans or hot rolling machines.
Petrochemical and fertilizer plants: Reciprocating compressors or process pumps.
Pulp and paper mills: Monitoring of displacement at large paper machine drying cylinders or rotating bearings in the power department.
