Product Description:

TThe Bently Nevada 21504-000-020-10-02 8mm Standard Mount Proximity Probe are constructed of polyphenylene sulfide,(PPS), a high performance plastic capable of withstanding unusually harsh,wet and/or chemical environments.It used for critical rotating equipment including turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators.

The 7200 8 mm Proximity Transducer Systems are noncontacting,gap-to-voltage transducer systems that measure static as well as dynamic distances between the probe tip and the observed target. The general application is any requirement for an accurate, noncontacting displacement measurement.However, the most common use is for shaft position and vibration measurements on rotating and reciprocating machinery.

Electric power plant: Monitoring the radial vibration and axial displacement of the turbine and generator shafts in the power plant.
Petroleum, natural gas and chemical plants: Monitoring the operational health of centrifugal or reciprocating compressors.
Critical pump sets: Such as high-pressure injection pumps on offshore drilling platforms or in chemical processing plants.
Heavy manufacturing and mining industries: Monitoring the bearing conditions of large dust removal fans and mill motors in steel mills or mines.
