Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 200350-11-00-CN is a heavy-duty industrial accelerometer designed to measure machinery vibration in hazardous environment applications like oil, gas, and power plants.The 200350-11-00-CN Accelerometer is contained within a hermetically sealed, stainless steel case. The design provides an extremely rugged transducer, well suited for harsh industrial environments. Each transducer’s top mounted, 2-pin connector (MIL-C5015) allows for easy installation and removal of the interconnecting signal cable. A ¼-28 threaded hole on the bottom of the casing accommodates multiple mounting options.

Application:

Power Generation: Used on steam turbines, generators, and cooling tower fans. It continuously tracks structural resonances and imbalances to maintain grid reliability.
Petrochemical & Chemical Processing: Deployed on critical infrastructure including blowers, mixers, and process gas compressors where continuous predictive maintenance is necessary to avoid catastrophic housing damage
Pulp & Paper / Heavy Industry: Placed on heavy machinery such as kilns, crushers, conveyors, and rolling mills to withstand corrosive environments while tracking bearing wear.
Water & Wastewater Utilities: Installed in pumping stations to monitor structural vibration on massive water distribution pumps, effectively identifying early cavitation or shaft misalignments.

Q:How is the sensor mounted?
A:This option utilizes an M6x1 adhesive stud mount. The base has a 1/4-28 female thread where the adhesive stud is screwed in. When tightening, the maximum recommended mounting torque is 2 to 5 ft-lb (2.7 to 6.8 N-m).
Q:What cable and connector are required?
A:The top of the sensor houses a standard 2-Pin MIL-C-5015 electrical connection. It outputs a differential voltage signal through a recommended interconnecting shielded signal cable.

Q:What is the maximum recommended cable length?
A:Assuming a maximum vibration of 50 g and standard cable capacitance, the maximum recommended length is 104 ft (31 m). For longer runs, Bently Nevada Technical Support should be consulted.
