Product Description:
The Bently Nevada 200150-05-CN is a general-purpose, case-mounted piezoelectric accelerometer. It targets "Balance of Plant" (BOP) machinery and secondary assets across heavy industries. The 20015x Accelerometers are general purpose, wide frequency, case-mounted seismic transducers designed for use with Trendmaster ProTIMs.The 200150 Accelerometer also operates with the Trendmaster 2000 system. The accelerometer interfaces with the 200100 Dual Acceleration to Velocity flexiTIM Module and the 89130-01 Acceleration-to-Velocity TIM, as well as the 1900/25 and 1900/27 monitors.

Power Generation: Used plant-wide to track dozens of auxiliary motors and pumps feeding the main boilers and cooling towers.
Oil & Gas / Petrochemical: Installed across refineries and chemical processing units on secondary rotating equipment where flammable gases may be present.
Pulp, Paper, & Water Treatment: Well-suited for wet, highly humid environments due to its hermetically sealed 316L stainless steel casing and 100% condensing humidity rating.
General Manufacturing & Mining: Applied to high-density machinery assets across extensive factory floors to transition from manual walk-around inspections to automated, continuous monitoring.

Q:How does this sensor operate?
A:It uses an internal ceramic piezoelectric element. When machine vibration occurs parallel to the sensor's axis, the element undergoes mechanical stress and creates an electrical charge. Internal electronics convert this charge into a differential voltage signal proportional to acceleration.
Q:Is it compatible with standard IEPE hardware?
A:No. The Bently Nevada 200150 operates differently from standard Integrated Electronics Piezo-Electric (IEPE) sensors. It runs on a low-power, differential 5 Vdc powered system rather than a typical constant current loop. It must be paired with Trendmaster hardware, such as a pro TIM.
Q:How can I calibrate the 200150 sensor?
A:You can verify and calibrate these sensors out in the field using a portable tool like The Modal Shop 9100D or 9110D Portable Vibration Calibrator. These tools simulate explicit frequencies, check the output voltage bias, and create NIST-traceable logs to satisfy API 670 standard validation protocols.
