Product Description:

The Bently Nevada 190501-18-00-04 is a Velomitor CT velocity sensor specifically designed for cooling towers. This sensor is a low-frequency version of the standard Velomitor piezoelectric velocity sensor, rugged and durable, specifically designed to measure the vibration velocity of cooling tower and air-cooled heat exchanger fan casings at speeds not less than 90 rpm (typically 100 to 300 rpm). In addition to measuring vibration amplitude within this low-frequency range, the sensor can also detect the vibration frequency generated by the fan motor and reducer.

Application:

Power Plant Cooling Circuits: Monitors critical induced-draft fans used to extract heat from condenser water loops.
Industrial Exhaust & Ventilation Fans: Safeguards heavy-duty flue gas or ventilation fans running at low structural speeds.
Fin-Fan Heat Exchangers: Extensively used to protect large aerial coolers crucial to refinery and petrochemical processing loops.
Large Industrial Pumps & Blowers: Applied on the structural casings of massive vertical pumps and processing fans that fall into the low-frequency operating window.
